$175.00
Sold Out

In this 6 Week Live Workshop I will teach you the fundamentals for painting in watercolor and/or gouache from a photo reference.

You’ll leave the class with a system that will help you create paintings and troubleshoot along the way.

What you’ll learn:

  • a simple system for finding and testing compositions

  • how to make your own references using a phone camera

  • mixing formulas to create any color you see

  • how much water to use to create different effects and values

  • build strong light relationships to give your work bold contrast

  • systems for drawing that make it easy to work from photographs

  • sketchbooking systems to support your problem solving

Live Sessions will occur on Sundays from 10AM-12:30 PM Starting October 12th through November 16th with recordings available 48 hours after each session.

This has been my most popular in-person class for the two years and I am so excited to begin offering it online.
