About the Class:
Ready to learn the basics of drawing and try out some fun new materials you can take with you anywhere? Local adventure artist Mel Mitchell-Jackson will walk you through how to see, measure, and locate values when drawing from life. In this 2 hour workshop you’ll get hands-on with simple materials and find strategies that help you keep drawing.
Suggested Supplies I’ll be demoing:
Hanemule sketchbooks (1 set per student!)
Pencils (2h 2b 6b 9B)
Pencil sharpener (the ones with replaceable blades)
Kneaded Eraser
Sketchbook holder clamp
1 water soluble Lyra Crayon
Water cup (old jar of any kind works)
1 Watercolor brush (an 8 Round, ideally)
