Lichen Live Oak (framed 11" x 14" original painting)

Original oil painting on cradled wood panel of a Live Oak tree in the Oakland Hills. I started the piece back in January during the fires in LA. Muted greys and greens of the coastal marine layer sit on an underpainting of bright orange allowing for the tree to glow from within.

All of my original paintings are made using archival materials and lightfast paints to stand the test of time.

This piece is framed in a solid wood ampersand Walnut floater frame. It will look excellent with any mid-century modern decor or styles that incorporate warm wood textures (like a cabin in the woods!)
