muir woods

in the rain

these photos are more of my favorite trees, but at a beautiful spon on a rare occasion — Muir Woods National Monument during an Atmospheric River. We were sloshing through mud puddles and bundled up in raincoats. I used a plastic bag over my ol reliable Sony a6000 and shot these redolent photos of mosses, redwood sorrel (the clover guys), ferns, and my beloved Coast Redwood. The color in the rain is unmatched levels of Saturated Green. These photos are minimally processed. So yes, these colors are REAL!
