what the heck is an Artist-run Gallery?

Watch me talk about what differs in the mission for artist run galleries from the rest of the art world.

In this video, I’ll be painting mushrooms that I spotted on a recent hike while answering questions from my youtube comments.

I’ll be mainly discussing galleries on a high level. What types there are, how you might want to work with them, and sharing excerpts from two of my books. The Phonebook 4 from ThreeWalls, an essential resource on all things artist-run and alternative art spaces. As well as the PLUG Projects book developed in 2017 documenting the archive of that space.
